...we finished in second place as a team, last weekend at the Sarasota Fitness Challenge. YES, read it and weep! woo. I think I'm still sore.

Raleigh Wedding!

Nick and Tina Lala's wedding was in Raleigh this past weekend. THE WEATHER WAS AMAZING! I was a little bummed flying back to Tampa's HOTTTTTT 'fall'.

As some of these pictures will tell, our smiles told the truth of a fun night of dancing till our feet were sore... and fun with family of course.

FItness Challenge Sarasota 2010

Last night Joey and I drove down to Sarasota to compete in a 'Fitness Challenge' this morning. "Oh, it will be easy", we said . . .

Little did we know.

The course involved rope climbing, dumpster diving, hurdles, tire pulls, other nonsense. BUT, we did it, and finished in the team division right at 20 minutes.

**Birthday Bully!**

My furry child turned 2 today!!!!! His birthday started off pretty normal....him snoring in my face when my alarm went off for work. When I got home, we took a trip to Petsmart where he got to pick out a birthday present....he went straight to the treats, whatdya know. It then ended with a big birthday bone, and a trip to the spa, aka "the bathtub", where we had a lovely bath and nail clipping.

Here's my first encounter with Berkley in September 2008. It was love at first sight! How could I resist that little snowball that sounded like a piglet!

Tomorrow marks a week of dogsitting Soleil for the couple I usually babysit for. Berkley is in love, however, I can't say the same for her...

Weekend Visitors!

My brother and Christon decided to come down to Tampa from FSU for the weekend!! YAY! So.... what do you do when two Marines stay at your place you ask? WELL, first, you PT. I was drug along for this, which I am glad for AFTER the fact. During our 'PT workout', my muscles were screaming. THEN, you eat cupcakes and early Halloween candy, and then you "do Tampa".

Hot Summer Day

I couldn't find Berkley anywhere, and I usually just follow a 'snore trail', but finally spotted him outside on the porch.....just sunbathing.
