LONG OVERDUE :

Quick update : since the fiasco with the 'old landlord' and before we take legal action..... we have lived in a hotel for 10 days (2 pictures below are what we did to keep ourselves entertained in our 10 x 12 ft. hotel room. thanks for being such a good sport Berkley) . . .

. . . Craig's house for 1 day, and now finally into the new condo downtown. It's right on the Hillsborough river in downtown Tampa with beautiful wood floors! Here's a picture of the boys taking a little break from decorating and getting things organized. (Thanks mom for the amazing IKEA gift card!!!!! It was so helpful!!)

Here is what we decided to do to the bedroom. "Oh let's do stripes, they'll be so cool," said a reluctant Sarah and AJ.... (4 hours later)....."Maybe we should have just painted the entire wall." BUT, all the hard work was worth it. Kind of looks like a giant orange bar code now that I think about it.

The bathroom is the coolest part of the condo, with the shower inside the bathtub 'room'.

Berkley is so happy to no longer be a nomad.

P.S. Thanks Granny and Pop for coming over to visit and take us to brunch. Nobody loves breakfast food more than me. It was a nice break from our recent hectic lives.

BOOT CAMP has officially started
......annnnnd my legs/arms/back/etc. are ALREADY sore, sore, sore.

This morning I started a 12 week M,W,F 5:30 to 6:30 am.....YES, A.M. (so naturally I'm getting up no later than 4:45/5:00 am. Andrew says that's even earlier than YOU Mr. Richard Head. Uh oh, you better watch out early riser.) workout program with a local retired Army Officer who puts on these programs in a local church parking lot. Running, pushups, crunches, jumping rope, games, weights...the whole 9 yards. The goal is to shape up and lose weight. I was going to post a before picture and in twelve weeks repost an after picture, but that of course would mean I would have to post a picture of my body before.

I soon regained my mind.

Jesus help me.

Moving Day - More like ''NO'' Day

Nutshell : AJ and our friend Craig moved ALL of our furniture into our new residence in South Tampa Friday morning. While taking the very last piece inside to the loft, the president of the HOA came around the corner and asked "what are you doing?"

Nut : Fran, the loft owner who we're renting from 'mistakenly' forget about the rules of move in dates.

Cracking the nut : We're not 'allowed' to move in until August 1. After a lot of heartache, tears (by me), and sweat, our new 'home' is the Towneplace Suites by Marriott in North Tampa for the next 20 days. Carepackages and sympathy notes are always welcomed. Room 121 (the cramped room with the dog.)

TRYING TO STAY POSITIVE : I'm trying! AJ is doing a good job of keeping me sane, and Berkley is happy to be anywhere with treats. We like our new trendy loft near downtown, and hopefully all of this trouble will be worth it on our OFFICIAL move in day of August 1. Here's hoping.....and praying.

The BEST Work Day Ever

So, a 'long office meeting' was scheduled this afternoon, from 12:00 to closing time at 5:00 pm and we all thought WOW this is going to be a long meeting. We saw our last patients out the door, and went in the break room to have our office meeting...we were all nervous to say the least because no details had been given out as to what the meeting was all about.

Dr. Michaud went on and on about how great everyone was doing, yadda yadda...and then asked us to follow him outside (where it was pouring rain)....

low and behold, a shiny black cadillac limo was waiting for us and we were instructed to get in. We were all stunned to say the least and followed our boss's instructions. Once the five of us squeezed inside, we found beverages and food to munch on as we drove to the S P A !!!! SPA DAY instead of working from 12:00 on! THE BEST work day ever. Manis, pedis, and massages for everyone in the office. I naturally chose red polish for my nails, and blue polish for my toes. RED, WHITE, and BLUE....Happy 4th!

My boss is great. : )
