Bully Extravaganza

This morning we joined the rest of the members of the Tampa Bay Bulldog Meetup Group at the Davis Island Dog Beach here in Tampa, FL. I brought some doggy life jackets from work and got some great photos of other bullies in their jackets. I didn't catch a video of it, but NEWS FLASH: Berkley can really swim with his jacket on! He swam really far out to get a ball, and then spent the rest of the morning playing with the other bullies. Now he's snoring on the bed....

The Hog

This past Friday we met college friends, (Robin {a devoted blog follower!}, Paul, Yoelly, and Rudy) at Ellas Folk Art Cafe in Seminole Heights for a yummy dinner and live music. If you're looking for a funky eclectic atmosphere and good food and beer, check it out! (I recommend 'The Hog' pizza!)

Two Coats

My name is Sarah, and I'm a nailpolishaholic. Here are some nail painting tips for those who might be equally obsessed with nail polish as myself.
1. Buff, buff, buff! Your polish will go on SO much better on a dry, clean, buffed nail.
2. Instead of shaking your bottle before painting which will cause bubbles, roll it between your hands really fast to smooth the polish and warm it up.
3. Using a nail strengthening thin bottom coat before applying your polish will definitely help the strength of your nail (especially if you're like me, and change colors so often.)
4. After painting your nails and allowing them to dry, run them under cold water to seal them.

(that's all I can think of now....more to come!!!)

This is only a 1/4 of my collection. Obsessed much?

Working Hard or Hardly Working?

Just a normal day at the office. (insert smile here)

Summer Fun

A few Sundays ago, at 5 pm, we looked at the bedroom wall and said....let's paint the stripes away. So a relaxing Sunday turned into lots of paint(all over the place), sore arms, and paint fumes circulating the apartment. Don't worry, I'll repost when the room is new and ready.

Here I am being a cheerleader for AJ Woods at the driving range.

.....lately.

Here's whats been going on lately.... I'm back to work and loving it. Berkley is still adjusting to a full time job....aka....sleeping a few hours less per day, and AJ and I have been suffering the Tampa rain and heat. That is all for now. Oh, did I forget to mention I saw Harry Potter 7 Part 2 at the MOSI on opening night!!!! Yes, I am a dork.

Here's Berkley sporting his new Paws Aboard blue polka dog life jacket at work. Having dogs at work provides the best test subjects for new products!

Here are some dog shots from work. Believe it or not, I do get a LOT of work done. ; )

Here's all but one pup at work back in the packaging area waiting for a treat!

Couldn't resist ordering an oreo cheesecake at The Bungalow in South Tampa. ; )

Gaspar's Grotto in Ybor hosted an 80's Mustache Party last night, and as soon as Andrew heard the word 'mustache', we of course had to attend. Haha.... yes, I am a girl wearing a mustache, and yes I got lots of looks in the restroom.

How could I not?

After I gave AJ the great news, I was happily surprised by a congratulatory gift!!!! As soon as I saw the Tory Burch gift bag, I was in heaven! Reva Ballet flats I've been wanting forever!... and perfect for work. ; )

Thanks Pop for the new additions to our patio!

I don't need much convincing to get into the holiday spirit regarding my nails and my nail polish. Ta da!

I don't need much convincing either to need a reason to bake a cake. Extra frosting please!

Berkley was sooooo excited about the 4th of July festivities as you can tell.

In honor of Independence Day, we celebrated like good ole fashioned Americans....by joining the Orlando tourist crowds at the Sleuth's Mystery Dinner Show! The show was centered around the 'Hillendale Beauty Pageant', until someone was murdered!!

AJ must have stuck out (in a good way I hope?), because as soon as we sat down for dinner, he was quickly picked to participate in the show. Much to our delight, the following pictures showcase his 'star' involvement.
