design on a dime

When my fingers aren't glued to the next oreo making it's way to my mouth, they are on the remote turning the channel to HGTV. I love it. House Hunters International is always a good watch, and Design On A Dime is good too. I'm always looking for chic and cheap finds at thrift stores, or DIY projects. I can't wait to have our own place, big enough to decorate to my liking. AND, thank goodness I have a boyfriend who loves what I love. Right? Oh wait, maybe I should have asked......

A few ideas of my dream living space.

My dream office! So girly and classic.

So loving this color scheme and palette.

Two examples of my dream bedroom. (maybe one day?!)

Some new ideas in our place. I've really been into orange and black lately. Black is always in season and style, and orange is slowly taking over as my favorite color. (BUT DON'T GET IT TWISTED, I STILL HATE THE GATORS WITH EVERY SEMINOLE BONE IN MY BODY.)

Dang, maybe I should go back to school and study design....dang.

three things

Love the smell, and not too sticky. Ironically enough, I just ran out last night...looks like I'll be hitting Origins at the mall soon!

My new softball glove. I have beeen heavily recruited to join the KPMG softball team after they heard of my mad skills in third grade. Okay, that's not true. They just needed more girls, and I look somewhat athletic.

This is the perfect top coat, and it really does dry fast!

Throw Back

I came across this album of photos I took on my last trip to my grandparent's farm. No photos are edited.

three things

After expanding my collection of 'must-follow' fashion/food/art blogs, I found a site where she listed her top 'five things' every week. I decided to do the same, but with only three. I'm sure my readers wouldn't appreciate five new nail polish colors every week. I promise to try to be creative, AND step up my blogging to include more of what I love: fashion, color, creativity...(and of course a TON of pictures of Berkley....what kind of blog would this be without my one and only furry model?)

At OPI.com (one of my favs), you can customize nail length, skin tone, and obviously try on all the colors that OPI provides. Yes, I have spent quite a bit of time on this site plotting my next Trade Secret purchase.....okay....purchases.

Although not very healthy, I simply cannot resist these fudge creme mint oreos, or should I say Heaven? I'm sure my thighs will not enjoy them as much in two weeks. *Helpful hint-place in fridge for ultimate enjoyment.

My kate spade Ally polarized aviators. Simply irresistible, and look great even on my big head.

Paint Fumes

AJ calls it more of a disease than a hobby. I call it: relaxing, enjoyable, fun, creative, stress-relieving, weekly ritual.

Oops, a nail is chipped....gotta go repaint!

Free Falling

Two days ago, on June 6, it marked the four year anniversary of me jumping out of a plane.

Over the Swiss alps.

More specifically it was in Interlaken, Switzerland, only hours before flying back to Florida. How did it feel? Best feeling IN THE WORLD.

When can I go again?????

Beauty 101

A good friend from college, and fellow study abroad Switzerland roommate Beth (!!!!!) has the cutest blog ever (click here), and she shared this website all about beauty, which I have come to adore!
